Beer crust pizza! After I reblogged her pizzas last week, B’klynHeart was nice enough to send me the recipe - which, as it just so happens, is from King Arthur. (She replaced the pizza dough flavor with nooch and Penzey pizza spice; I used garlic, thyme, and oregano.)
Pizza #1: a vegan cheeseburger beer crust pizza, with cheddar Daiya cheese, Yves Meatless Ground Round, onions, tomatoes, black olives, and my own homemade pizza sauce!
Pizza #2 was a bit simpler, with just two toppings: mozzarella Daiya cheese and homemade marinara sauce.
The crust is a nice medium-thin (if you don’t leave it to rise a second time, anyway), crispy with just a hint of beer flavor.

I ate that pizza. I ATE THAT PIZZA GOOD!
(Follow Your Heart mozzarella, sweet corn, carrots, black olives, and sundried tomatoes on my basic, go-to fluffy white pizza crust, with a teaspoon of garlic powder to mix things up a bit. GROOVE IS IN MY MOUTH!)

Shane: Why are you photographing that pizza? We make it all the time,* you must have a hundred pictures of it by now.
Me: I run a food blog now, I always need more pictures. I post like five times a day, I have to photograph everything! YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND THE PRESSURE!

(Especially your ice cream! I know frozen desserts are supposedly “out of season” now (pffft!), but my queue is running dangerously low and I LITERALLY CANNOT EAT ANY MORE ICE CREAM than I already do! Well, unless I switch to banana ice cream as a breakfast staple BUT THAT WOULD JUST BE SILLY, don’t you think?)

* This pizza, by the by, is mozzarella Follow Your Heart, black olives, sundried tomatoes and Lightlife Pepperoni, all on a fluffy white crust. You know, THE USUAL.
