Hey y’all! It’s Siobhan here…again. But this time, I have a proposition for y’all. I’m trying to organize a group of people for something called a twitterfic.

I’m sure most of you know what fanfiction is, and a twitterfic is pretty similar, except it takes place on twitter with people tweeting as characters. There is no concrete script, just certain points that you have to reach in the plot (such as a meeting with Badger or a drop of goods). This allows for players to insert random things into the storyline, such as flirting between Simon and Kaylee or Jayne cleaning his guns. 

There would only be one or two stories done a month (max) and they would only take a few hours to tweet out at the most. The stories that we would tweet would be episodic, as if it was a second season of the show. It would be extremely flexible, and we would organize the story times for when everyone was available to tweet (such as weekends).

I was planning on tweeting for Zoe, so we’ll need a Mal, Inara, Wash, Simon, River, Jayne, Kaylee, and Book. If you don’t want to make a commitment as a major character, we’ll always need minor or reoccurring characters (such as Badger or Saffron, or any other one episode characters). If you’re interested in being a part of this, email me at geekygrl17@hotmail.com with the name of the character that you want to be.

I actually got the idea for this from a group of people who do this for the (late) show Star Trek: Enterprise. They have done a stellar job keeping that show active, and I hope that we can do the same with Firefly :)
