Is this boy gorgeous or not? He literally looks like he is ‘painted’. He was rescued from a horrible situation where cats were just breeding and breeding and no one was even feeding them. Luckily they lived through it and got to safety at our shelter. Pop is very timid with strangers, so he would need a kind patient person to adopt him. He really loves affection but wow, he is just too scared to ask for it. However, after we close at night, he seems to come out of his shell, so we believe that in a quiet home, no children, he would do great! How can you resist such a gorgeous boy, we hope you give him the chance he deserves!! Pop, boy, born 6/09

HELP Humane is a non-profit TRUE No Kill animal shelter currently run on individual donations and fundraising alone. (just south of Kansas City). All HELP animals are treated by veterinarians, receive age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, spayed/neutered and those incoming after Oct 2005, have been micro chipped. Cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative unless otherwise stated. Dogs have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative. We have been told by many adopters that the reason they liked adopting from us is because we have a happy place and all the cats are the friendliest ones they had ever met. HELP Humane believes that all life is precious and is therefore, a TRUE No Kill shelter. We have many FIV and FeLV+ cats in our care. They will live with us until they end their life’s journey or find a permanent home. Come Visit Us!
