It’s almost here, people! The day we’ve been waiting for! VEGAN PIZZA DAY IS LESS THAN 24 HOURS AWAY! 2nd annual, vegans! I don’t know about you, but I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. But instead of images of gumdrops and xboxes dancing through my head, tonight I’ll be dreaming of chili cheese fry pizzas and garlic knots! Melty cheddar Daiya and marinara sauce, yum.

Naturally, we’ll be celebrating all weekend long here at fuck yeah vegan pizza, with photos and photos and more photos - and, as promised, a shiny new giveaway! Snap a pic of your Vegan Pizza Day eats and share it with us for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to the vegan store of your choice! Buy more pizza! Or not. It’s your money, yo!

The finer print:

1. You don’t need to be vegan to enter, but your pizza does! Entries must include a photo or video of a vegan pizza (or pizza-esque dish) that you enjoyed THIS WEEKEND. (Please don’t send in pics that are a week or a month or a year old!)

Be courteous and don’t include any non-vegan items in the photo, mkay?

2. You can submit more than one photo, but only the first one will count toward the giveaway.

3. You do not need to have a tumblr account to enter! The submission page allows for submissions with a valid email address in addition to those made using a tumblr account. If you’d rather not use tumblr’s interface, you can email your entry to me at easyvegan@gmail.com.

4. If you’re submitting an entry via tumblr, make sure your ask is enabled so that I’ve a way of contacting you. If you’re submitting via email, please add easyvegan@gmail.com to your address book. I must be able to make contact with you!

5. This contest is open internationally!

6. The winner will be chosen randomly, but I may throw in a second entry for those submissions that strike my fancy - i.e., pizzas that are especially inventive, artistic, or just plain epic - resulting in a giveaway that’s a mix of chance and skill. Fun!

7. The prize is a $50 (USD) gift certificate to the vegan store of the winner’s choice. Obviously, the store must a) be all-vegan and b) sell gift certificates online.

8. The contest runs now through Monday, July 2, 2012, at 7PM US Central time (that’s 5PM Pacific / 8PM Eastern). I will choose, announce, and contact a winner after all the entries are published. The winner has 72 hours to respond, after which time I’ll randomly choose another winner.
